Japan's Taro Daniel has held serve for his entire semifinal against top seed Ben Shelton, winning through to the big dance at the ASB tennis Classic

The world number 74 has ousted the 21-year-old American 7-5 7-6, winning the second set tiebreak 11-9 on centre court.
The only break came for Daniel in the 11th game of the opening set to go up 6-5.
Daniel says to hold serve against Shelton is a great accomplishment.
Daniel will meet qualifier Alejandro Tabilo in the final tomorrow afternoon.
