Helen Gregory was found dead in her Baroda Street home just before midnight last Wednesday.
Police don't believe there's any risk to the community.
Ohariu MP and ex Police officer, Greg O'Connor, spoke with those in the area yesterday - and says the best way to resolve the anxiety is to make an arrest.
He says knowing whether it was a random act, could also reassure locals.
