Police have confirmed the death of a 79-year-old woman in Wellington, is being treated as a homicide - and an isolated incident

Helen Gregory was found dead in her own property on Khandallah's Baroda Street, late last Wednesday night.

Detective Inspector Nick Pritchard says Police have been conducting enquiries, including a scene examination, for days.

Police are reiterating their call for people to come forward, and give them information on the case.
