Grim news for the Tall Ferns ahead of next week's Olympic basketball qualifiers in China

Grim news for the Tall Ferns ahead of next week's Olympic basketball qualifiers in China

They're set to be without guard Charlisse Leger-Walker after she went down with a knee injury during a recent US college game for Washington State.

New Zealand centre Penina Davidson is already sidelined with a calf tear.

Tall Ferns coach Guy Molloy is gutted about losing his two leading scorers from last year's Asia Cup.

The Tall Ferns take on France, China and Puerto Rico next week, where they'll qualify for Paris if they avoid finishing last.
