A fixture list congestion awaits the Wellington Phoenix Women heading into the business end of the Women's A-League season

Six players will be heading with the Football Ferns to Samoa for next week's Olympic Qualifiers, leaving the squad a bit short in the midfield after today's clash in Newcastle.

Coach Paul Temple says it'll be a challenge for everyone, but this will produce some opportunities for the fringe players.



Kick off against the Jets is at 5pm.
