Expect sporting organisations and broadcasters to incorporate free-to-air content as part of their strategies moving forward

That's the view of Super Rugby Pacific chairman Kevin Malloy, with 19 games from the trans-Tasman competition set to be shown on the Sky Open free-to-air channel this year.

That goes along with 25 NRL games that will be featured for free.

Malloy points to cricket as an example of a sport that's found success through free-to-air games.
