Health New Zealand's released a report on the population's health - the first of its kind since the agency was established.
A third of Kiwi adults have a BMI of 30 or more -- meaning they carry enough weight to affect their health.

He says you start to see rates of things like diabetes - which is a concern for individual patients, and the cost to the health system.
