The Transport Agency's beginning a swathe of roadworks across the country

The Transport Agency's beginning a swathe of roadworks across the country

From today until March 29, resurfacing on State Highway 2 between Masterton and Carterton will close the road overnight, Sundays to Thursdays.

The Remutaka Hill Road between Upper Hutt and Wairarapa also has night closures from March 10, until June.

There are eight sites on State Highway 2 north of Tauranga that need road sealing, with more to begin near Pongakawa.

In the south, there are several roadworks on State Highway 1 between Picton and Christchurch.

In Nelson, there'll be intermittent night closures until March 17 on Whakatu Drive, State Highway 6, until mid-April.
