    A sniffer dog's foiled plans to bring drugs into Upper Hutt's Rimutaka Prison


    Bart the detector dog wouldn't leave a shoe box that was coming into the prison alone, during a routine check.

    The dog's handler found a bag of white powder in the heel of both shoes - and the contraband was confirmed to be two small bags of meth, and four larger bags of cocaine.
