    Phoenix men's midfielder Nicholas Pennington has his fingers crossed that his first child won't arrive too early as he targets an A-League grand final


    Wellington are trending-well towards earning their first piece of silverware as they remain top of the table with five matches of the regular season to go.

    But Pennington has his fingers crossed that two of his biggest life milestones won't clash.



    The Nix play the Brisbane Roar in Wellington tomorrow.
