Four out of five businesses are offering employees flexible working hours

That's according to figures from Stats NZ, which also show that figure increases to 90 percent for businesses with 100 or more employees.

More than two out of five businesses offer employees the option to work from home - and 14 percent of their staff have taken this up.

Stats NZ Business Performance Manager Ricky Ho says the IT, media and financial industries are more likely to offer work from home options than the likes of accommodation services, farming and forestry.
