Travis Kelce "doesn't know how" he started dating Taylor Swift

The 34-year-old NFL star started romancing the 'Karma' hitmaker last summer and although she's been a regular at his Kansas City Chiefs games, the 'New Heights' host admitted he's still amazed he managed to capture the pop superstar's attention because she "wasn't into sports".

Comic Lil Dicky was a guest on Travis' 'New Heights' podcast - which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce - and hailed his romance with Taylor as "the best thing ever".

He said: "I think there's just something that makes everyone feel like the world is like high school, where your most popular pop star beloved musician somehow how met your most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love and it's just real. Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser."

Travis replied: "I appreciate it, man. I don't know how I did it because she wasn't into sports, so I don't know how I did it."

Referencing Travis' previous public admission he had made a friendship bracelet for the 'Anti-Hero' singer but was unable to meet her to hand it over at the time, Lil Dicky said: "Well you did because you called her out on..."

Travis laughed: "No, I know exactly how I did it."

The brothers' guest also quizzed the siblings on how they have found the extra attention being close to 34-year-old Taylor has brought and Travis admitted he is "having a blast" and appreciates the fact his girlfriend's presence has introduced more people to his sport.

Jason said: "It's not changed that much for me."

Travis added: "It's fun. He's having a blast in life, baby.

"Just flying high, enjoying it all. Bringing new lives to the football world and opening up the football world up to new things."

In July, Travis had explained he had been left "disappointed" when he was unable to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on after attending one of her 'Eras' concerts.

He said on his podcast: "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.

"So I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.

"If you're up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it."

However, he joked he "took it personal" when he wasn't able to meet the 'Bad Blood' singer after the show.
