    Rafael Nadal's tennis comeback has ended in the second round of the Barcelona Open


    The 22-time grand slam champion has been ousted in straight sets by world number 11 Alex de Minaur .

    Nadal has only played five matches since January 2023 due to hip and abdominal injuries.

    He wants to return to the French Open next month in pursuit of a record 15th title.
