Wendy Williams' legal guardian has filed court documents demanding her ex-husband Kevin Hunter pay back $112,500 in alimony

The 59-year-old former talk show host was placed under a guardianship in early February 2022 when her bank stepped in and claimed in a New York court her behaviour was "concerning"

Her guardian Sabrina Morrissey has now claimed in court documents Wendy's former partner Kevin - who the presenter divorced in 2020 after a 21-year marriage - was "overpaid" for three months and was "unjustly enriched" by the star's bank account.

Sabrina added in papers obtained by Page Six 'The Wendy Williams Show' ceased paying the former host in October 2021, but Kevin continued receiving payments until January 2022, which he confirmed.

She says in her filing: "I believe this was largely the result of the fact that the payments had been put on an 'autopay' function within her account."

Sabrina added the payments go "against the express terms" of Wendy and Kevin's settlement agreement, which stated his payments would cease if his ex-wife's income reduced to "less than two times her then yearly income (as of 1 February, 2020.)

The papers add: "By holding on to the funds he was overpaid, he has interfered with (Wendy's)right of possessions to those funds."

As well as calling for Kevin to returning the six-figure sum, Sabrina is also calling for him to pay back the interest on the cash.

She has also requested the court issue a gag order against him to prevent him from speaking to "press or others" about the matter.

Sabrina stated in the documents; "The potential harm to (Wendy) is great.

"Mr Hunter and his agents have shown their willingness to talk to the press about these issues."

Wendy has hit out at being placed under a guardianship and detailed her lack of financial freedom in the two-part documentary 'Where Is Wendy Williams?'

The Lifetime special also reveales Wendy's battles with dementia and aphasia, which her son, Kevin Hunter Jr, has claimed stem from her years of drinking.

Sabrina has accused Lifetime's parent company, A and E Networks, of "humiliating" Wendy by filming her "in an obviously disabled state" for the show.
