Police are appealing for information following a ram raid in Haumoana overnight

Police say a vehicle was used to gain access to a superette on Clifton Road shortly after midnight.

They allege its two occupants entered the store - taking cigarettes and lighters before leaving in a second car.

They're appealing for sightings of a silver car with a distinctive white bumper.
