Police still haven't identified a woman whose body was found in Wellington Harbour yesterday

She looks to be a New Zealand European in her 60s, and was found dead off Mahina Bay, south of Seaview, about eight-am.

Anyone in the York Bay area earlier that morning who observed anything should contact police.

They'd also like to hear from anyone with an adult female friend or relative unaccounted for in the Wellington area.
