For the first time in club history, A-League silverware is genuinely in the sights of the Wellington Phoenix tonight at Sky Stadium

For the first time in club history, A-League silverware is genuinely in the sights of the Wellington Phoenix tonight at Sky Stadium

The club is playing for its maiden Premier's Plate, sitting one-point clear of the Central Coast Mariners at the top of the ladder who have a game in hand.

The Phoenix will be presented with the silverware post-match if the club beats Macarthur FC, as long as the Mariners lose to Newcastle in a match being played simultaneously.

Phoenix general manager David Dome expecting more than 15 thousand to their home ground tonight.
