New Zealand Rugby wants the Auckland Stadium debate settled as soon as possible

New Zealand Rugby wants the Auckland Stadium debate settled as soon as possible

The latest domino in the city's ongoing stadium saga has fallen.

A council working group met this morning, where it's understood Eden Park was pinpointed as the frontrunner of the four bids.

But the Quay Park bid also has plenty of support, including the backing of NZR.

CEO Mark Robinson says the sport has the perfect event to christen such a development.
