Wellington Police would like to hear from a ride-share driver who gave a victim of a hit and run - a lift home

Wellington Police would like to hear from a ride-share driver who gave a victim of a hit and run - a lift home

A vehicle struck a man in Ngaio early on Sunday April 21.

A driver found him in the middle of the road - and woke him up and offered to call an ambulance.

But the victim didn't realise how serious his injuries were and asked to be taken home.

Police are thanking the driver and asking them to get in touch.
