Hosts Italy have closed in on a third successive men's Davis Cup tennis title, sealing a 2-love semifinal victory over Belgium

Hosts Italy have closed in on a third successive men's Davis Cup tennis title, sealing a 2-love semifinal victory over Belgium

Italy's Flavio Cobolli saved seven match points to beat Belgian Zizou Bergs in a third-set tiebreak thriller - 17-15 - to avoid needing the doubles contest.

The Italians will try to complete the three-peat in Monday's final against either Germany or Spain, who are without injured No 1 Carlos Alcaraz for tomorrow's contest.
