Christchurch has been named the country's most turbulent airport for the second year running

Christchurch has been named the country's most turbulent airport for the second year running

Turbulence tracking website Turbli has released its annual global rankings, analysing flight data to identify the world's roughest airports and routes.

The Garden City also tops Oceania's list for highest average turbulence - ahead of Wellington, in fourth and Auckland, in eighth.

The Christchurch-Wellington flight route is considered the most turbulent in the continent.
