New Zealand have stayed in Chennai to face the UAE - one of the tournament's lesser-known quantities for the main nations.
Batting coach Luke Ronchi says they've had Lockie Ferguson, Jimmy Neesham and an analyst all take part in the UAE-based ILT20, while the Black Caps also played a series against the Middle Eastern nation in 2023.
