Market Report - Monday, 20 May 2024
The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly yesterday with the NZX50 up 0.14% percent (16.72 points) from previous close to end the day at 11,700. The most actively traded stock on the sharemarket, with over 3.8 million shares changing hands was Fletcher Building, closing the day up 3% from it's opening to $2.91. The next biggest trader was Arvida Group Limited (96c) with over 3.1 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 120 to 98, with the biggest loser being Michael Hill International Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was Gentrack Group Ltd (. |
