Market Report - Friday, 31 May 2024
The NZ Sharemarket surged upwards Friday with the NZX50 up 2.68% percent (310.08 points) from previous close to end the day at 11,557. The most actively traded stock on the sharemarket, with over 30.8 million shares changing hands was Radius Residential Care Ltd, closing the day up 4% from it's opening to 12c. The next biggest trader was Ebos Group ($33.05) with over 14.9 million shares being traded. Rises outweighed falls by 113 to 107, with the star of the day being Meridian Energy Ltd (, while the biggest loser was Greenfern Industries Ltd (up 0%). |
