Police are keeping a close watch on gang members across Hawkes Bay and have made one arrest

    6 September 2025
They've charged a 39-year old man for alleged possession of an offensive weapon.

A gang conflict warrant remains in place in Hawke's Bay - following two incidents this week believed to be linked to the Mongrel Mob and Black Power.

Police say there were no major incidents overnight, and they used the warrant for three vehicle searches.

Meanwhile, a gang conflict warrant also remains in force across Manawatu.
