The NZ Sharemarket fell slightly yesterday with the NZX50 down -0.15% percent (-19.40 points) from previous close to end the day at 12,585. The most actively traded stock on the bourse, with 70 thousand shares changing hands was Channel Infrastructure NZ Ltd , closing the day unchanged from it's opening to $2.20. The next biggest trader was Contact Energy Ltd ($9.00) with over 29 thousand shares being traded. Rises outweighed falls by 5 to 1, with the star of the day being Contact Energy Ltd (, while is yet to be determined. |
