    Discounted e-bikes helped one kiwi drop 30 kilos

    Yesterday the government announced fifty thousand public sector workers will be eligible for discounted e-bikes.

    NZTA worker Sophia Grey trailed the initiative earlier this year and says it's hugely improved her life.

    She says she has a joint condition and didn't like the idea of cycling up hills - but the electric power makes it a breeze.
