    Tourism and trade between New Zealand and Canada are set to take off

    Air Canada's new service arrives at Auckland Airport today, bringing with it a 38-million-dollar boost for the economy.

    Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive Stephen England-Hall says it's a great opportunity for New Zealand.

    He says last year 70-thousand Canadians visited New Zealand, up 6.7 percent on the previous year.

    The seasonal non-stop service to and from Vancouver will operate four times a week from mid December through until the end of March.
