Increasing demand from Asia is forecasted to boost global beef trade in the next five years

A new Rabobank report highlights how trade has increased substantially recently, with exports rising by 14 percent since 2019.
Brazil leads exports, and accounts for about half of China's imports.
Senior Animal Protein Analyst Jen Corkran says Brazil will continue to a big player in the next five years.
She says that won't have a major affect on New Zealand, as we don't export the same products as Brazil.
