    Last night saw the biggest spike in internet traffic the country's ever experienced

    Broadband usage was up 34 percent from the normal baseline ... but Chorus says the network is coping well and still has plenty of headroom.

    The increase was expected as households settle in to the Covid-19 lockdown, but Chorus thinks traffic will become more steady in days to come.
