Wellington and Wairarapa
Morning cloud clearing to fine. Cloud returning in the afternoon, with a few evening showers.
Marlborough, Nelson, Buller, Grey and Canterbury
Fine with high cloud, then rain developing about Buller and Grey this afternoon, spreading elsewhere in the evening.
Westland, Fiordland, Otago and Southland
Fine with high cloud, then rain spreading east from afternoon, with possibly heavy falls in the west, then easing in the evening.
