Periods of rain, with heavy falls and thunderstorms possible, easing to a few
showers tomorrow morning, clearing north of the Kaweka Forest Park tomorrow
Strong northwesterlies, gale in exposed places about and south of the volcanoes.
Above 3000 metres, lowering to 2000 metres in the south for a time tomorrow
Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks, the Southern Alps and Fiordland
Periods of rain with heavy falls and thunderstorms. Snow lowering to 1000 metres
in Fiordland from this evening. Rain, easing to isolated showers tomorrow
evening south of Arthur's Pass.
Periods of rain, possibly heavy with thunderstorms, clearing to fine this
afternoon. Fine tomorrow, apart from a few evening showers.
Gale northwesterlies, severe gale in exposed places today and for a time
Lowering to 2500 metres, and to 1300 metres in the south tonight, rising to 3000
metres in the north tomorrow evening.
