    Showers, mainly north of Kaweka Forest Park, with snow to 1300 metres for a time. Showers clearing south of Kaweka Forest Park tomorrow and becoming isolated elsewhere.

    Egmont and Tongariro National Parks
    Increasing fine spells.

    WINDS
    Southerlies, strong north of Kaweka Forest Park.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    2000 metres in the north sloping to 1400 metres in the south. Rising above 3000 metres everywhere tomorrow.

    Mainly fine. However, cloudy periods and isolated showers about the Kahurangi National Park today, and developing in other western areas tomorrow.

    WINDS
    Southerlies easing today then dying out. Northwesterlies developing south of Mt Cook tomorrow, rising to gale about Fiordland.

    Above 3000 metres in the west, sloping to 1500 metres in the east. Rising above 3500 metres everywhere tomorrow.
