Whanganui and Taihape to Wellington, also Nelson and Marlborough Fine, but cloud developing this evening. Isolated afternoon or evening showers for inland Marlborough. Buller, Grey and Canterbury Mainly fine at first, but a few showers in Buller and Grey. Rain developing everywhere this afternoon, heavy at times with possible thunderstorms. Otago, Southland, Westland and Fiordland Rain spreading north this morning, briefly heavy and possibly thundery, then easing to isolated showers in the afternoon.
