Horowhenua to Wellington
Showers developing tonight, clearing for a time tomorrow.
Nelson, Buller and Westland
Rain in Westland spreading north this afternoon and evening, with heavy falls and possible thunderstorms in the west. Rain clearing for a time from tonight until tomorrow morning.
Rain, with heavy falls and possible thunderstorms, clearing to mainly fine this afternoon.
Marlborough to Southland
Rain in Otago and Southland, a few showers elsewhere, with possible thunderstorms in North Otago and South Canterbury. All clearing this evening. Cloudy tomorrow and scattered rain developing.

North Island, rain for most, possibly heavy, easing to showers in the west later. South Island, rain, with heavy falls in the north and east. Rain easing in the southwest late. Gale southwesterlies developing along the east coast.
North Island, remaining rain turning to showers, then showers clearing or becoming isolated during the afternoon and evening. South Island, rain turning to showers in the morning. Showers becoming isolated later. Gale southwesterlies developing along the east coast.
North Island, mainly fine, a few late showers about Taranaki and Kapiti Coast. Gale northwesterly developing in Wellington and Wairarapa. South Island, rain developing for most. Fine at first in the east, scattered rain later. Gale northwesterly developing.
A few showers on Tuesday. Rain, possibly heavy on Wednesday, easing later. A few showers on Thursday. Gale northerlies developing late Tuesday, turning strong westerly on Wednesday then strong northerlies on Thursday.
