An associated front moves east across South Island today and the North Island tomorrow, followed by a trough and southwesterlies. A ridge of high pressure moves over New Zealand on Saturday. On Sunday, a low over the Tasman Sea approaches central New Zealand, followed by a broad trough on Monday.
