Moderate sea in the north. Northeast swell 2 metres easing. Poor visibility in rain with possible thunderstorms, developing afternoon. Saturday: Westerly 20 knots, but variable 10 knots south of East Cape. Becoming westerly 20 knots everywhere in the morning. Easing to southwest 10 knots in the evening. Sunday: Variable 10 knots, becoming northwest 20 knots early. Monday: Northwest 25 knots, becoming southwest 15 knots south of Mahia Peninsula later. Rough sea easing.
