    *GALE WARNING IN FORCE*

    Thursday:
    Northwest 40 knots, changing to southwest 35 knots in the morning. Easing to southerly 25 knots in the evening. Very rough sea easing. Long period westerly swell rising to 6 metres for a time. Poor visibility in showers. Squally thunderstorms possible before dawn.

    Friday:
    Southwest 20 knots, becoming northwest 25 knots in the morning. Becoming northerly 30 knots but northwest 40 knots east of West Cape in the afternoon. Sea becoming very rough in the east. Heavy southwest swell dying out. Heavy northwest swell developing.

    Saturday:
    Becoming northerly 30 knots everywhere early, rising to 40 knots in the morning, easing to 25 knots in the east later. Very rough sea easing for a time. Heavy northwest swell.

    Sunday:
    Becoming northwest 35 knots everywhere early, easing to 25 knots late. Sea very rough at times. Heavy northwest swell.
