Sea becoming rough for a time. Very long period southwest swell rising to 3 metres. Poor visibility in afternoon and early evening rain. Saturday: Westerly 15 knots, easing to variable 10 knots in the evening. Moderate westerly swell. Sunday: Variable 10 knots, becoming southeast 15 knots later. Moderate southwest swell. Monday: Southeast 20 knots, becoming southeast 25 knots but 40 knots south of Kawhia Harbour later. Sea becoming very rough in the south. Moderate southwest swell easing.
