    Friday : Southerly 25 knots, turning westerly 25 knots in the evening.
    Sea rough.
    Long period southwest swell rising to 6 metres for a time.
    Fair visibility in a few showers.
    Saturday : Westerly 20 knots, rising to northwest 30 knots for a time in the morning.
    Sea becoming rough for a time.
    Long period southwest swell 5 metres, easing.
    Fair visibility in a few morning showers.

    Outlook following 3 days:
    Sunday: Westerly 15 knots but 25 knots south of Puysegur Point.
    Becoming northwest 15 knots everywhere in the morning.
    Rough sea in the south easing.
    Moderate southwest swell.
    Monday: Northwest 20 knots, rising to northerly 30 knots early, and to 40 knots south of Puysegur Point later.
    Sea becoming very rough in the south.
    Moderate southwest swell.
    Moderate northwest swell developing.
    Tuesday: Northerly 35 knots, becoming westerly 15 knots early, rising to 25 knots later.
    Very rough sea easing.
    Southwest swell becoming heavy.
    Northwest swell becoming heavy for a time.
