On Tuesday, a low from the subtropics moves southwards, remaining offshore to the east of the North Island, while a front moves onto the far south. Forecast issued at 2250hrs Friday 26-Apr-2024 Valid to 1 am Saturday for Inshore waters from Lyttelton Harbour to the Waimakariri River mouth. Saturday: Southwest 10 knots, becoming variable 5 knots this morning. Sea slight. Fine.
