The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly yesterday with the NZX50 up 0.43% percent (59.00 points) from previous close to end the day at 13,556. The most actively traded stock on the bourse, with over 3.5 million shares changing hands was Spark New Zealand Ltd , closing the day down 2% from it's opening to $2.44. The next biggest trader was Kiwi Property Group Ltd ($1.10) with over 3.2 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 114 to 109, with the biggest loser being Chatham Rock Phosphate Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was NZME Ltd (. |
